Cycle Tough 4000™ IPS Fittings

Cycle Tough 4000™ IPS series fittings are made from a PVC compound with a cell classification of 12454B per ASTM D1784 and have a minimum Hydrostatic Design Basis of 4,000 psi. The molded fittings are made from segments of CSA B137.3 pipe bonded together and over-wrapped with fiberglass-reinforced mesh. The pressure rating of the fittings is a minimum of 200 psi.  The unique configuration and material characteristics qualify the fittings to withstand the water hammer and cyclic pressure surges in applications such as golf course irrigation systems. Cycle Tough 4000™ IPS fittings are corrosion proof and the high molecular weight pipe resin of the fittings resists cracking.  Reinforcing ribs in the fittings provide additional strength by reducing surge-pressure effects and act as stabilizers to prevent thrust restraint abrasion. Cycle Tough 4000™ IPS fittings use a unique pressure gasket system to ensure a tight leak-proof seal.
